Season One of the new Disney+ era of Doctor Who is coming out on Blu-Ray and DVD on August 12th, 2024… in the UK only. So far, due to current streaming agreements with Disney+ outside the UK, only the UK will see a physical home video release of this season of Doctor Who. There is currently no plan for a home video release in the US or anywhere elsethat has Disney+.
The Doctor(Ncuti Gatwa) andRuby Sunday(Millie Gibson)'s first season of adventures is immortalised in this new home entertainment release, available on limited edition steelbook, DVD, or Blu-ray, with over seven discs worth of content. This new release features seven discs of content, a huge amount of special features, all episodes of Doctor Who: Unleashedand theTales of the Tardis version of theClassic Fourth Doctoradventure, "Pyramids of Mars"in its shorter, tighter cut with updated CGI FX. But that's not all. Literally every Behind the Scenes video and special video that was released to the BBC's official Doctor Who YouTube channel will be in the set as well. This means if you don't have the internet (then how are you reading this?!), you will be able to experience everything in season one!
