\nAnother nice feature is that this has upstream & downstream TB3 ports so you can daisy chain, with the caveat that the downstream port is 1/2 the bandwidth but still much faster than USB3.2.

\nThe drive included in the 1tb and 2tb are Western Digital SN730 (OEM SN750). They are not the fastest drives and they do run on the hot side.

\nThe 1tb is probably the best value if you consider the dock itself is $79... that puts the 1tb drive at $50. If you bump up to the 2tb the additional cost of the drive is $120, or $60/tb which isn't great for this particular drive.

\nThis is sold and fulfilled by Western Digital and they're using UPS shipping. I ordered a pair of empty D50 on the 6th... they didn't physically get handed over to UPS until yesterday and UPS ground has an ETA of June 14th. Pretty terrible fulfillment/shipping speed IMHO, so keep that in mind.
